Whittinghams is one of the oldest firms of solicitors in Bridgend having been established in 1935 and over the course of the years generations of people in the Bridgend area have entrusted us with their legal requirements.

The firm has two partners. Michael Greenway and Matthew Carr.

The senior partner is Michael Greenway who is the partner in charge of our Porthcawl Office and the senior conveyancing and probate partner within the firm. Mike also undertakes a broad range of non-contentious work, residential and some commercial conveyancing, probate, wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection applications and equity release mortgages.

Matthew Carr is a partner in the Bridgend Office. Matthew deals with all Probate, Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection applications.

The two partners have 60 years of experience in practice locally, and a great deal of Whittinghams work is repeat work from clients who have been happy with the service given to them over the years.

Kassey Davies took over from Howard Jones, our Senior Partner in October 2023 dealing with all residential conveyancing and equity release mortgages.
